Day 1 – Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Travels With Kip representative and transferred to your hotel.
After your international journey, enjoy a relaxing afternoon at leisure. You may unwind by the swimming pool, enjoy a spa treatment, or simply rest before your exciting Kenyan safari begins.

Day 2 – Nairobi Cultural Experience
After a relaxed breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the historic Karen Blixen Museum, located in the leafy suburb of Karen. This colonial farmhouse was once home to the author of Out of Africa and offers fascinating insights into Kenya’s early colonial history.
Later, visit the famous Giraffe Centre, where you will have the opportunity to feed and interact with endangered Rothschild giraffes while learning about conservation efforts in Kenya.
Lunch will be served at the renowned Carnivore Restaurant, one of Nairobi’s most famous dining experiences, known for its traditional Kenyan barbecue and variety of roasted meats.
In the afternoon, visit the Bomas of Kenya, a cultural center that showcases Kenya’s diverse traditions through music, dance performances, and traditional homesteads representing different Kenyan communities.

Day 3 – Nairobi to Umoja Women’s Village
After breakfast, depart Nairobi and travel north toward Umoja Women’s Village, located in Samburu County.

In the evening, enjoy traditional Samburu songs and dance performances.

Day 4 & 5 – Cultural Immersion at Umoja Village

Day 6 – Reteti Elephant Sanctuary Visit
Today you will visit the inspiring Reteti Elephant Sanctuary, located within the remote Namunyak Conservancy.
Reteti is Africa’s first community-owned elephant orphanage, where orphaned elephants are rescued and rehabilitated before being reintroduced into the wild.
You will witness feeding time, learn about elephant conservation, and meet the dedicated Samburu keepers who care for these young elephants.
Return to your accommodation later in the day.

Day 7 & 8 – Samburu National Reserve Safari
Depart Umoja Village and drive to the nearby Samburu National Reserve, one of Kenya’s most scenic and wildlife-rich safari destinations.
