4 DAYS RWANDA GORILLA TREK AND GOLDEN MONKEYS
Overview
Rwanda, often referred to as the "Land of a Thousand Hills," offers breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and unique wildlife encounters. This 4-day adventure focuses on experiencing the rare and majestic mountain gorillas through two treks, as well as an enchanting visit to see the playful golden monkeys.

Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival in Kigali
Morning arrival at Kigali International Airport, meet and greet with your guide. Introduction and a short briefing, after which you embark on sightseeing tour of Kigali city Including the Genocide Memorial Museum and a visit to the local market.

Day 2:
Volcanoes National Park
After Breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for check in and register for your 1st Gorilla Trek and allocation of the Gorilla family to visit.
After registration and allocation of a gorilla family, you will be briefed by the allocated guide, on the trekking procedures as well as the Do’s and Don’ts while in the presence of Gorillas.
After the briefing, your drive guide will transfer you further up-to the mountain – to the trek start point, from where the exciting gorilla trek adventure commences
Upon sighting the Gorillas, you will stay with them for a magical one hour as they go about their daily life, feeding, playing and resting
Coming face to face with a giant silverback must truly be one of the greatest wildlife experiences on earth
A walking stick is provided at the start point – to help steady your trekking
Porters are also available – to help carry your water bottle/ day pack or even hold hand in slippery/steep sections (this is at a minimum charge of US $ 10 Per person, payable at the end)
At the end of your one-hour audience with the Gorillas family, re-trace your steps back to the trek start point and rejoin your driver Guide and vehicle. Drive back to your lodge for freshening up and lunch.
Afternoon is at leisure to simply relax at your lodge, with dinner included

Day 3:
Volcanoes National Park
Your driver Guide will transfer you to the park headquarters for check in and register for Golden Monkeys trek.
Note: Just as with the Gorillas – upon sighting the Golden monkeys, you will be in their presence for only ONE HOUR
At the end of your one-hour audience with the Golden Monkey family, re-trace your steps back to the trek start point and rejoin your driver Guide and vehicle. Drive back to your lodge for freshening up and lunch.
After lunch, Relax and later depart for Red Rocks Cultural Centre for a chance to experience the Local Production of Banana Beer.

Day 4:
Depart for Kigali International Airport
After enjoying your breakfast, you will be transferred to Kigali International airport for your outbound flight.
